The temperature is falling as fast as gas prices but there is still some great diving to be done. The quarry will continue to be open weekends thru November. Water temps are still good and the visibility is getter better each day. Wreck diving in the Carolina's continues and the water is still a balmy 57 degrees so don't put away that gear just yet, c'mon out and sneak in one last hurrah before the snow starts falling.

DIVE,DIVE,DIVE ABOARD A SUBMARINE!

If you haven't signed up for this class your missing out on an incredible experience. Piloting this submarine is as easy as driving your car and you stay warm and dry while you explore underwater. Mark Ragan, author and professional submarine pilot is teaching this fun and educational program. Earn your K250 license and next year we'll be hosting dive days for qualified pilots. A memorable gift for the explorer in your family!Divers and non-divers can enroll in this exciting program.

CLASSES

New Open Water classes are starting in January and it's the perfect time of year to have something fun to do instead of shoveling snow. Enroll before the end of the year and save $75 of the regular course fee!UPCOMING SPECIALTIES:

EQUIPMENT SPECIALTY CLASS: January 14

This is a fun way to learn about the inner workings of your dive gear. In this hands on class you'll get to take apart regulators, valves, inflators, etc. (ours not yours) This is a fun class that may save you some heartaches on a future dive by teaching you how to prevent future problems and do easy field repairs on the most common dive ending gear issues.

SCUBA RANGERS

SCUBA RANGERS Camps are just around the corner. Children 8-12 yrs. old learn diving, water safety, and other related topics during this fun filled adventure. Once children become Rangers, the fun keeps on coming with lot's of year round activities. See what's coming up soon!

XMAS TREE RANGER: December 6th 1-3pm

Hard to believe it's that time already. Once again Santa will visit the pool as the Rangers decorate an underwater tree. We'll be taking lot's of pictures for you to share with friends or make into unique holiday cards!

FISH IDENTIFICATION: Jan.18th 10-noon

Here's another pool activity that sure to be lot's of fun! learning how to find and identify creatures in the wild is educational and fun. No creatures in the pool you say? We will be bringing an assortment of amazing live creatures to hide out in the pool. Don't worry none will be harmed as they swim in their habitats underwater..

QUARRY NEWS

The Wednsday Evening Socials have ended but the quarry is still open every Saturday and Sunday at 9am. Quarry dive weekends end November 30 but we will be open later if weather permits. Check calender or call ahead

SERVICE

With the dive season coming to an end don't put away your gear before having it professionally cleaned and/or serviced. Salt, sand, and crud accumulation can reduce the life of your gear if you let it. For just $15 our staff will be happy to thoroughly clean and inspect each component before you put it away. Not the same as having it serviced just giving it a little professional TLC before you put it to bed.
