January/February 2009

The holidays are behind us and winter has set in for the next few months. There are still a few adventurous divers out there braving the local waters but for most of us it's hibernation time. Don't forget abut having your gear serviced before it begins the winter nap. If your looking for some fun activities check out what we've got coming up!

Always one of our favorite destinations featuring incredible dives for divers of all skill levels. Enjoy 2 boat dives per day and unlimited beach diving! This trip provides hotel accomodations, all meals, diving, and lot's of fun. Just the ticket if you're looking to escape from scraping ice and shoveling snow. DEEP CREEK FEB 13-16

We used to call this our Ski-n-Dive weekend but hardly anyone is brave enough to go diving anymore, so it's just become a fun get-a-way weekend. Enjoy skiing or tubing or just lay back and relax at the comfortable lakeside house we're staying in. Hot tubs, pool table, big screen TV, and large fireplaces make this a cozy trip for everyone. This year Chef John is back and will be preparing a mouth-watering meal on Saturday and Sunday nights. The perfect chance to hang out with friends, share stories and fun and just unwind from the holidays.

ST. LAWRENCE RIVER DIVES:

If you haven't done one of these trips yet, your missing out on some great diving. Explore shipwrecks and walls and even get the chance to come home with interesting artifacts. This year we will also explore two incredible dive sites on the US side. The Keystorm which is a gigantic freighter that lays on her side completely intact. Lot's of room for easy penetration into the wheel house and other spaces. The America is a large upside down barge with lots of room for exploration. Remember the best thing about St. Lawrence is it's easy to get to, offers great visibility, with water temperatures over 70 degrees! Spaces are limited and these fill up fast.
