Undersea Outfitters offers dive classes year round. The pool classes are held in various locations to suit your needs. Classes are 5 weeks long, once a week. Each class has a pool session and during this five-week period you will also receive three classroom sessions.
After you have learned to use scuba equipment safely and properly, and understand the "rules" of diving, we will take you on five Open Water dives to earn your dive certification. Upon completion of these dives, you will be licensed to enjoy recreational diving anywhere in the world!
Undersea Outfitters pledges to teach you until you feel comfortable under water. Even if it means meeting you a few extra times in the pool... at no additional charge!!
The Fees for Instruction Include:
- Diver training kit with SSI manual
- The Use of Undersea Outfitters Scuba Cylinders
- The Use of Undersea Outfitters Regulators
- The Use of Undersea Outfitters Wet Suits
- The Use of Undersea Outfitters Buoyancy Compensators
- The Use of Undersea Outfitters Instrumentation
- The Use of Undersea Outfitters Weight Belts
- All other certification fees
To insure proper fit and hygiene, each student must provide their own
mask, fins, snorkel boots and gloves. However, for the initial classes we will provide you with our supplies in order to get an idea of what works
best for you under water. Our staff encourages you to seek our guidance
and expertise when purchasing this equipment. This will ensure your
ultimate enjoyment of scuba diving.
And remember, you wouldn't be human if you didn't have some hesitations. That's why we stress the importance of safety and security at every training session. Unlike other dive schools, all of our training equipment is top of the line to give you the best experience possible. By training in the finest gear, our students dive with self confidence and the ability to discover the world beneath the sea without second-guessing the performance of their equipment.
In addition, you can be guaranteed that your class will be small so that you can receive the personal attention you will need to learn scuba diving well and with confidence.
Private Instruction
For those who have trouble making our scheduled class times, we can
arrange for you to take private lessons at a scheduled, convenient time
for you. Private instruction gives you the ability to work one-on-one
with one of our instructors. These classes can be held in the privacy of
your backyard pool, or at one of our affiliate pools.
